“Trauma to Triumph" - Youth In Search is one of our clients, and they possess the single worst statistic of any of our clients. The greatest killer of Australian youth aged 16-24 is suicide. Not road deaths or drugs but suicide. YIS was set up some 30 years ago and use a method of peer to peer treatment. Young people who have fallen through the cracks, are lucky of they find YIS. We began building a brand strategy, and it was a deeply troubling exercise given the subject matter. We then developed a new identity system, that helped them with their number marketing event "Youth suicide week" launched in Canberra. We worked on donor events and vigils around the country bringing attention to this appalling statistic. Out of our strategy came the brand idea - "Trauma to Triumph". YIS and its members love it.
