Floridia Cheese is an Australian success story in the truest sense. Founded by Italian immigrants back in the 1950’s, Floridia started their business by making cheese for their neighbours and friends. The business grew from there and remains family-owned and operated to this day. 

Their product range is diverse as is their customer base, consisting of delis, markets and convenience stores located all over the world and has won multiple awards in recognition of their quality. 

We were required to create two solutions for the Floridia business. The first was to develop a cloud-based database to house information relating to how some of their raw products were delivered to them and subsequently handled. This data was ‘sitting’ in an excel spreadsheet that was a disaster waiting to happen since very few people knew how to edit the document without breaking the complex mathematical relationships.  

Our cloud solution provide a far better solution since it is safely stored in the cloud, but more importantly, the complexities that delivered the critical data results could not be accidently altered.     

Following this project, we began the custom development of the Floridia website, which took out the award for “Best Hospitality Website Of 2022” at the 2023 AWIA awards.
